About Delimiter.site
Delimiter.site is a free set of text tools for people who work with lists, data and plain text. Paste your text, get your result, close the tab. No sign-up, no limits, and nothing you paste is ever stored.
What makes this different
Most online text tools send what you paste to a server, process it there and send the result back. That is normal, and for most people it is fine. Delimiter.site does not work that way. Every text tool here is JavaScript that runs on your machine, which has three consequences worth knowing:
- Your text is never transmitted. Not encrypted in transit, not deleted after 24 hours — never sent. There is no server-side copy to leak, subpoena or lose.
- It works offline. Load a page once, disconnect, and the tools keep working. You can verify the claim above in about five seconds this way.
- There is no reason to gate it. Because usage costs us almost nothing, there is no account wall, no daily limit and no paid tier to upsell you to.
The trade-off is honest: very large files are limited by your device's memory rather than our hardware, and the tools need JavaScript enabled. For everyday text work that is a good deal.

How your text is handled
Counters run entirely in your browser
The word counter, character counter and case converter never send anything anywhere. Turn off your Wi-Fi and they still work.
So do the converters
The delimiter converter, find and replace and every one of the 16 conversion pages also run locally. There is no server round trip to intercept, log or leak, which is a stronger guarantee than a deletion policy. The privacy policy spells it out.
Accounts are optional
There is exactly one reason to make an account: saving a score to the typing leaderboard. Every tool works fully signed out.
Why it stays free
- We use it ourselves. These started as internal shortcuts, which is why they load fast and skip the clutter.
- Nothing to monetise. We never see your text, so there is no data to sell even if we wanted to.
- It costs almost nothing to run. All the work happens on your device, so our bill does not grow with your usage.
- No account walls. Putting a sign-up form in front of a word counter helps nobody.
